A: Officers' names cannot be registered in Roman letters. The names of foreigners or foreign companies must be registered using Kanji and Katakana, not foreign characters like Roman letters.
Registering with Kanji
For countries where Kanji is used, it's possible to register using Kanji characters included in the unified character set for registration. However, different Kanji will not be registered.
Registering with Katakana
For foreigners who do not use Kanji, names are registered in Katakana. There are no rules regarding the order of names, and the presence of middle names or the order of names is case-by-case.
